Light Returning

Opened the blinds after lunch and the sun was still up. Not setting, not just a pale strip on the horizon. Properly up. Golden light on the buildings, people walking without hunching. After December through February, six degrees and real sunshine genuinely feels like something.

Demos are out to a couple of labels. Now I'm in the waiting game, trying not to check email every five minutes, failing at that. Channelling the anxiety into new sketches, which is probably the healthiest way to handle it. Already getting ideas that feel different from the EP stuff, less inward, more rhythmic. Spring energy maybe. We'll see.

Thanks for reading these, by the way. Writing has become part of how I process what I'm making. Started this as an afterthought and now it's something I actually look forward to. More soon.

The Midnight Sessions

January Picks

Contemplative energy this month. Slow-building tracks, deep pads, rhythms that don't rush anywhere. Music for long dark evenings, basically. Been spending a lot of time with the Alton Miller Headspace...
